CIRRIUS HEALTHCARE GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
In an aim to help curb the number of infections in Gauteng, Cirrius Healthcare SA donated a total of 2000 hand sanitizers to three schools, namely, Nong Primary School in Mabopane, Lesedi Primary School in Shoshanguve and Tsogo High School in Mmakau on the 22nd June 2021.
With Gauteng producing more cases than any other province during the third wave, the organization saw it fitting to be a helping hand to the fight against the pandemic.
Nong Primary School teacher Sphiwe Khanyile said that, they appreciate the thoughtful gesture and trust that the sanitizers will play a huge role in preventing the rapid spread amongst school pupils. "We will give one sanitizer to each learner, that way they will be able to sanitize their hands regularly without any disruptions in class. This will definitely help reduce the chances of them being infected."
Boitumelo Kau (12), grade 7 learner from Lesedi Primary School, said that he is thankful and happy that he will be able to sanitize as
much as he wants to without any instructions. "I will sanitize my hands before I come to school, after touching my stationery and throughout the day."
Lesedi High School Principal Obet Peta, expressed how grateful they are to receive the donation. He added that this should be done at other schools as well. Peta concluded that, sanitizers will be distributed to the learners as soon as possible.
The Organization has emphasised its commitment to always lending a helping hand to the communities.
